Inbox, Outbox & Messages


The Messages menu option contains your Inbox and Outbox. The Messages page is only accessible when you're logged in and when the Messages option is selected, by default you will be directed to your inbox. Your Inbox is where all your incoming messages are kept. Messages are visible only to the sender and recipients. All MyDealMaker messages are private between the recipients. Your Outbox is where copies of sent messages are stored.

How do I send a message?

  1. Search or browse through the Directory to find the profile of interest.
    Tip: To save you time in future from searching or browsing, add the profiles of your interest to your favourites
  2. Open the profile by selecting the companies name or More >> on the right hand side
  3. Select the Send Message link on the profile
  4. When you have wrote your message, click the Send button

How do I know if I have been sent a message?
If you have requested email alerts in your profile, you will be sent an alert to your registered email address when you receive an email in your MyDealMaker Inbox. On the right hand side of your Dashboard page there's a Messages box, which specifies the number of unread messages.

How can I forward a message?
We do not currently have message forwarding available on MyDealMaker.

I accidentally deleted a message. Can I get it back?
There is no way to recover messages that have been deleted. Sorry.
