The beta version of MyDealMaker was launched in August 2007 and since then the MyDealMaker team has been collecting feedback from those who initially registered on the site. Conducting research into the experiences and needs of our customers, the MyDealMaker team is keen to fine-tune the portal and develop the site in a way that is relevant to its users.

We invited our registered users to take part in a survey and then recruited participants to join us in two focus groups. The goals of both the survey and the focus groups were to encourage discussion around the issues surrounding current offline methods for raising investment as well as to highlight exactly where MyDealMaker would be able to make the most impact. 

This research revealed some interesting comments and suggestions but mostly it has helped the MyDealMaker team to focus on exactly what the next phase of development must include.

Simplicity - there are a lot of features available on MyDealMaker but the current site layout makes them difficult to use and find. We’ll be improving the design of the site to enhance the user experience and make it easier for MyDealMaker customers to find what they need.

Additional features - Given your feedback, in the process of investment there is much more that entrepreneurs need assistance with, other than investment itself. We are going to add some additional features to address some of the problems that entrepreneurs face and provide them with useful resources.

In the coming few months, the MyDealMaker team will be working hard on a host of developments and changes. As and when new features come online we will be keeping you informed.
