The Concept…
MyDealMaker is a concept driven by Connect Yorkshire and had initially set about with Connect’s understanding of technology companies looking for investment, a series of offline events and the limitations that this placed on both entrepreneurs and investors alike. From this MyDealMaker was born aiming to help technology companies in a similar way but online.
Now
Up until now, the details about a company found on MyDealMaker are text based and to bridge a gap with our offline experience and the online medium, we’re going to incorporate video pitches for entrepreneurs. This is greatly due to investor’s emphasis on the person behind the next big idea rather than solely the idea itself and we felt that this couldn’t be fully justified through text.

We are going to release some additional features in September amongst which we will include video pitches and a new account structure for entrepreneurs, so that users could make the most of MyDealMaker services and demonstrate their commitment to seeking investment.
Future
We will never be fully satisfied with MyDealMaker as the industry of MyDealMaker is fast paced but we aim to keep up with it and continually look for new ways to meet your needs more effectively.
