We recently held a focus group to better understand the issues that entrepreneurs are currently facing. Some concerns raised were who could view company profiles and what they can view. So we’ve addressed this by providing more details on our help files and below:
Who could view company profiles?
Entrepreneurs and Investors can access company profiles but they both see different views of it.
What can they view within the profile?
- Entrepreneurs – Can only view limited information on your company profiles such as the first paragraph on profile summary.
- Investors – Only approved investors are allowed to view your full company profile. We have a procedure in place that approves investor when they register to either self-certify or are FSA registered and this ensures that all investors comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
