Registration
When you register with MyDealMaker, you will need to provide your email address and provide accurate account information on the registration page.
Why Register?
Registration is required before you are able to use many of the site's features and create your personalised MyDealMaker profile.
How do I Register?
- On the right hand side of the homepage, there are two boxes for registration. One for entrepreneurs and one for investors. Select the links from the boxes or select the Register option from the bottom of the homepage.
- On the Register page, type a Username, Password (which is case sensitive) and Email Address (please ensure you type this in correctly) and a security question in case you forget your username or password.
- From the I am drop down list, select the role that defines you:
- If you are an entrepreneur or are representing a company seeking investment, you should register as A company seeking funding or services.
- If you are a business angel or an institutional investor you should register as An Investor offering funding.
- If you want to do both, you will need to create two separate accounts!
- Click the Register button
- You will be directed to the Terms And Conditions page, click the Accept button to accept them
- You will receive a confirmation email to your registered email address
- Click on the verification link in the confirmation email to complete the registration process. If the link is not active, follow the instructions given in the confirmation email.
Please note: The verification link contains an activation code, which is a security feature to ensure the email address you have registered belongs to you. If you don't click this link, your account wouldn't be activated and you wouldn't be able to login to MyDealMaker.
When registering, please ensure to provide accurate information and review the
Terms of Use, which you need to accept.
What kind of user should I register as?
If you are a entrepreneur or are representing a company seeking investment, you should register as 'Seeking Funding or Services'.
If you are a business angel or an institutional investor you should register as 'Offering Funding'.
If you want to do both, you will need to create two separate accounts!
Service providers wishing to advertise on the site or become a sponsor should contact us for more information on the options available.
Why haven't I received the confirmation email?
The confirmation email is probably sitting in your spam or junk folder right now! If you're still having trouble finding it, we can help you out. Send an email to info@connectyorkshire.org from the email address you attempted to register. For your security, we will not be able to confirm your account unless you send an email from this account address. Please write "MyDealMaker Confirmation Request" in the subject line of your message
