About MyDealMaker
MyDealMaker is a web-based solution designed to help marry young technology companies with sources of finance and business expertise and through this process to provide service providers a view of the pipeline of young, high growth companies. At the same time, we are helping service providers and intermediaries with the opportunity to publicise their offerings.
The Beta version had been launched in August 2007 with this intention and since have debuted Version 1.0 in June 2008. Following the successful launch of MyDealMaker, this is going to be quickly followed by another Version (2.0), which is due to be released soon and would integrate more advanced functionality.
MyDealMaker is a concept driven and developed by Connect Yorkshire in an attempt to utilise new mediums to reach out and assist young technology companies.
The objective of Connect Yorkshire is to realise its mission through the provision of a range of products and services that either train, catalyse, condense or promote the growth of technology companies in the region. Each product or service can be categorised as fulfilling one or more of these objectives.
This fits well with the analogy of a ‘chemical reaction’ between companies and resources (mainly, but maybe not exclusively investment) to raise their ‘potential’.
Connect Yorkshire has a dynamic network of sponsors and partners, that are drawn from the international business community and technology sector, which promotes the development of ideas and the exchange of valuable experiences through one-to-one executive support.
Connect Yorkshire has the backing of industry and commerce, the Regional Development Agency and universities, all committed to working together to open doors to raising initial funding through to multi-million pound deals. We are the experts in our field, passionate about priming technology start-ups for investment and helping them make the most of their business opportunities.
